New to Tampa Racing

Wassup everyone? My name is Shane. I know this might be the wrong forum but it appears that the rest of the new people were posting here. I currently live in 22/m/Memphis TN (i hate it here) but I have the chance to take a job down in Tampa and stay with the same company (Voicestream formly Powertel). I have been to Tampa numerous times and I loved it! The first time I came to Tampa I was sitting @ a gas station waiting for my friend to come get me so I can follow him to his apartment and for the 15 minutes I stood there I saw about 20 imports drive by. At that point I was hooked! The cars are nice (you should see some of the rice up here) the women are beautiful and the weather is next to perfect!

I wanted to get some information about places to live in Tampa. I only make about 26K a year so somewhere in vacinity of 300-450 (apartment/1br) would be outstanding! I also wanna live where a majority of younger people live. I should be coming back to Tampa in March and I would love to get to meet some of you.

I currently drive a 96 Sentra (5-spd). It has potential and I am willing to put in the work! Well I guess I better get back to work. If anyone wants to talk hit me up on aim. Later TR!

Thanks everyone for the replies. Integrachick isnt freezing weather in FL like 50 degrees? ;) Its been getting down to the teens @ night up here in TN (now that is freezing). Im sure by the time I move up there the weather will be outstanding!

Now Is someone going to suggest an area of Tampa to live in? Possibley suggest some apartments? When I came to Tampa I stayed with my friend. I think he lived in the Fletcher/Dale Maybary area. I dunno its been over a year. Anyways I loved that part of Tampa.

Its unfortunate - but I can tell you from experience that the price range for apts you are looking at isnt going to put you in the nicest of places. Trust me - Ive been there.

Not to offend you Sir - but you can *TRY* to get into income restricted places in nice areas of Tampa for prices like that - but you may still even make too much money for that.

When you find something youre interested in - post in free4all and well tell you about the area! Its very touch and go with Tampa as to what youll find. One area will be very acceptable - and across the street will be shit.

Welcome first off. A great place to live is in windemere apartments in brandon. they are on the corner of 301 and causway. they do help with low income people and its a great place. its also only 1 mile from where the hottest races in tampa are.

Hey man you can get a place for about 400-ish a month. the area is okay and is mostly occupied by college students. some complexs down tin that area hook u up with a roomate and stuff.
