I have a messed up head on my 04 F150 with the 24valve 5.4 triton. Heres my question. I cant seem to find any 5.4 3 valve heads, but have found a few 4.6 3 valve heads. Will the 4.6 3v heads work? Just want to make sure they fit the same and what will be different. Any input will be helpful. Thanks in advance,

Oh and if anyone is selling 3v heads please let me know

 

5.4 3V and 4.6 3V are the same casting and they will interchange. ford changed the plug threads in 06 from M14 (04-05) to M16 (06-up). other than the different plug threads, everything is bolt on.
