View Full Version : Fell in love with the truck all over again!

FINALLY got around to giving the ole girl a much needed bath, and figured since I haven't gotten any pics since I lifted her 2" higher, got my new wheels/tires (first actual brand new set!), switched back to the lariat chrome steps from the king ranch steps(getting amp's one day), and redid the exhaust that it's time to take some pics.

Lift is an 8" fabtech, have procomp reservoir shocks in the mail now, rims are 22x12 XD Monsters wrapped in 37x13.50x22 Kumho M/T, exhaust is a real 4" downpipe (not the 3.5" that comes with almost every exhaust kit) with a 6" straight pipe that turns down at the rear axle (sounds AWESOME, thinking about going back out the back with it with maybe duals, or a single 7" mitre cut stack)

The exhaust. The only thing I don't like about it is the fact I can't smoke morons that cut me off anymore unless I get in front of them as it goes to the ground, and I miss having a huge chrome tip out the back, but the way it sounds under full throttle is just unreal, I've never heard another diesel that sounds like it.

Thanks man, only thing it's missing in my eyes is a Presidential detail, king ranch seats, darker windows, and an 05+ front.


Also, forgot to mention, dynoed her at 455/641 on 22s/37s with a 4.10 gear and my new tunes!

I think I'm redoing the exhaust too. I want it either back out the back, or a single stack, I'm getting soot all over my rear end, didn't even think of it when I did the exhaust like this.. :lol:

I want some, but I'm not buying them new, I refuse to spend $1100 for a set of steps. lol

You want these moto metals with 37" bfg mt km2? They ride NICE, on my brother in laws truck right now, and hes going out of town this week, so I'll have the truck all week if you want to do something, lmk.

how much? what year truck are they on now? I have to run spacers on my 17x9's to get them to fit. Maybe it's the offset.

How quiet are the BFG's compared to the Toyos?

Ill ask him when he gets here, were at longhorn now and he's on the way but they're on an 05 and don't rub and the tires are quiet as can be I ould run them if they weren't black
