my moms new truck

her car got totaled and she got payed 5500 for that.. went truck shopping and picked up a 97 F250 7.3 powerstroke for 5560 cash.. heres pics

only thing i know thats done to it is intake and exhaust.. looks to be a 4 inch intake 5 inch exhaust after the 3 inch downpipe and a 6 inch chrome tip

im not even a ford guy ( nothing aginst ford but i love my chevy's ) and i love this truck! im thinking about getting one some day and keep my project truck as a project and not a DD.. its a project truck right now tags expired its up on jack stands no wheels ( city was bitching about it being there and your legaly alowed to have 1 project or 1 classic or 1 drag car but must be on a trailer or on jack stands with no wheels )

i had an 93 with the 7.3 na, 2wd single cab, 5-speed and loved it. miss that thing.

that truck is actually the setup i want. ext cab long bed 4wd 7.3!

also got a question.. the truck while daily driveing the boost gueage dont move.. i break boosted it from a 40 roll and it went to 23 psi and i let out.. could a exhaust leak at the drivers manifold cause it to not boost till its in the higher rpm's?

Powerstrokes won't build boost until late. What RPM does is start to climb?

1st gear at like 2,000 it get 10 pounds then 2nd gear at about 2100 it gets 15 pounds then i never give it more past that.. thats at full throttle.. your from auburndale?
