Getting a general cost estimate on machining locally??

Default Getting a general cost estimate on machining locally??

Just wondering what some of you guys paid/charging for the following items..

1. Bore/hone cast iron block
2. polish and check balance on crank
3. balance rotating assembly

good question. i need the samething except with my teksid block. you thinking of a stroker at all?

1. Bore/hone cast iron block $200- ish

2. polish and check balance on crank polish crank is $25 Check balance of crank
should be included into balancing the rotating assembly.

3. balance rotating assembly $175

Its a big block for sure (physically). It just has 4 cams.
