01 GSR vs Mullet [Archive]

Yep. Thats right...

I was cruising west on East Bay and this mullet comes up behind me in a TransAm. He was riding close and I HATE that so I just dropped a gear and weaved to put some cars between us. Well he decides he didnt want any cars between us and decides to follow. I see a red light ahead and switch lanes to put us side by side. He pulls up and doesnt look at me but stares the light down knowing what this means I followed suit. I see the crosswalk signal turn and knew that the green was coming so I put the cluth in and got first staged. The light switches and we both gun it. He spins a little and I barely chirped. We were side by side for 1st then 2nd nose to nose then 3rd I started to pull... next light hits yellow and we both back off and stop.

He looks over and says Hey how many horses does that thing have? I said About 180 guestimated... He was like Daym I got 295 in this bish and I cant even pull on you. Obviously I smiled and continued on in my lane since his was held up and mine was empty...

I love shocking those mullets... :D

You ran into a hybrid crossbreed of the mullet my friend for a true mullet would have not congratulated you my guess is that if one were to examine his family tree one might find some evidence of outside gene pool interaction. Just my .02

You barely chirped 1st in a GSR?? and beat him. GSRs have next to no torque and the best lauches with one typiclly involves spinning to aleast 20mph or you will bog the shit out of it.

So was this an LS1? LT1? 82-92? I didnt know integras were that fast. Ill have to look into one to replace the 69 Valiant.
