if you were not there and did not hear i spoke with alan about 11:30 and he says it is a go for next friday night. now if you did have your ticket and left you will be able to use that ticket next week to get in for free thats right folks free. hours will be the same and so will the format.

what i would also like to do is get some opinions for the people that were there and see what you guys think about it so i can relay that back to alan so he knows that this is a good thing and that we would love to have more of them.

For those who showed i thank you and next week we will try this again and hopefully take it all the way to 2am.

It kicked ass to say the least. Run after run after run no delays. Even with the rain i still feel it was worth 8 bucks. I expected some kind of problem due to the fact that it wasnt organized or whatever but it was awesome...ill be there next time and any other night they hold it. The porsches kicked ass...and hanging on the skyway for 3 hours was even kinda fun :D:D:D

Cars were still pouring in (no pun intended) even when we were drying the track! Awesome turnout!! The only thing i woulda liked is to have a Pro-Tree.. yellows flash then green. Or as JohnnyPointless suggested have a red green adn yellow pointing the cross direction to simulate a street light.. hahaha
I wish that Supra gang coulda made a few pases before the rain

I agree about the tree. On my first run I wasnt expecting it to be like that. I was sitting there staring at the green light. I probably sat there 2 seconds before going. :haha:

HELL YEA ! that turnout was awesome. ionly got 2 runs in and wasnt happy with them at all (wheel spin). but this event is gonna be huge if mother nature lets it ! unfourtunatly my car may not be running next week (but i can actually say im happy about this). but i will definatly be there again!how often are they planning to have this event?

the light they were running last night is called instant green its the closes things they have to a stop light race. but they also had the pro tree set up if any one had asked to use it wade should have announced that but know you all will know for this week coming up.

i got 4 runs in first one i wheel hopped like a bitch but was still the victor. then i races the 2g eclipse with the huge slicks 3 times in a row and came out the victor all 3 times. i had a blast and cant wait till next week. this actualy make me want to work on my car some more. :D

My girlfriend and I will be there next Thursday and Friday. We only got one run in (against a Blazer Extreme) and we were lined up against a Mountaineer 5.0L with a supercharger when the rain kicked in. Anyone know about the mountaineer?

I liked the instant on tree. A pro tree would be fine too.

Look for us next week parked on the fence at the 1/8 mile mark. There may be a few more 3000gt/Stealths with me as well as the Supra group. By the way all the Supras are stock. Ha ha.

I just wanted to let you know I thought this was a GREAT idea. We all enjoy a good race but OUR kinds of vehicles arent usually welcome at a track thats why we are forced onto the streets.....where the local law enforecement doesnt welcome us either.
