I picked up this g20 for $150. its an unmolested 5 speed and has perfect interior/exterior. The car starts and runs rough with a push start. I'm thinking it is a timing or cap/rotor issue. My problem is if the transmission is a limited slip or not. I know some b13 sentras had limited slips from the factory and some didn't. Is there anyway to check it by the vin? I know there is supposed to be a big manly bulge on the transmission if it has a limited slip but i can't get a good look at it.

 

Put the front on jack stands, turn one wheel. If the other one turns when you're moving one wheel, you're got a LSD. If not, fail.

far as i know g20's didnt have lsd.
most people swap in the se-r tranny for that reason

 

The p10/b13s had limited slips if there was a bulge but all of the EGR stuff is in the way Ill just spin the tires. Thanks guys

 

G20's only got VLSD's if they were Touring models. That was only available on P10's in the 94-98 model years.
