ok im a nissan guy that is trying to help his little brother with his car. He wants to turbo his 04' Mazda 3. i told him that he can push about 5 to 7 lbs of boost without doing any internal work to the motor, just like with most cars. now, we havent been able to find an exahust manifold for his engine, but i was wondering if we could use a Mazda Speed 3 manifold instead.
any other pointers are welcome, thanks

Yes you can. I suggest going to Mazda3forum to get some more info. There is a local member that built one for a friend. Username : Sokool.

might as well use the whole ms3 turbo kit or atleast the exhaust mani, turbo, and injectors if their not the same...

As far as the injectors go, they might be completely different as the MZR 2.3 DISI engine in the Speed3's/6's/CX-7's are different from the regular MZR 2.3's (Mazda MZR engine - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mazda_MZR_engine)).

They flow at a range about 400-1600 PSI (i watch it vary through an ECU scanner) vs about 40 for the regular MZRs.
