So yesterday I got pulled over cop was behind me when I pulled over he pulled up next to me yelling at me to put my window down I put it down and then he got out and came up to my window asking me why I was not wearing my seatbelt he then also told me that my tint was illegal he then took my registration and license and wrote me 2 tickets for my seatbelt and my tint. My question is if he is allowed to pull me over on my tint alone being that he did not know i was not wearing my seatbelt till he pulled me over. Does anyone know of a lawyers that will take care of these 2 tickets for a decent price?

 

How did he know your tint was illegal? why didnt you put on your seat belt?

 

since you were not wearing you seat belt, he gave you a ticket, and since your window tint is illegal he gave you a ticket for that too. it makes sense. pay the tickets.

 

I got a window tint ticket while I was getting a speeding ticket (10 over).. he never measured the tint. I dropped the tickets off at the lawyer... $100 bucks each ticket and it never sees my record. I never pay tickets, I'd rather pay the extra money for them to never get on my record.

 

i got pulled over for speeding also, 13mph over. But this cop measured the window tint, there was nothing i could do, but if he had not measured it then i would have taken it to court.

 

he never measured my tint it is mirror tint though.....

both the tint and seat belt infraction are offenses they can pull you over for. The tint one you can probably get out of, but I doubt you'd get out of the seat belt ticket. Wear your seatbelt doofus

 

Seriously, anyone who doesn't wear their seat belt is a moron.

 

If your tint was dark enough to be illegal, I would have just put the seatbelt on.
