mpfi help
Let me start off by saying that i've searched more than enough and I can't get solid info on the subject. Every write seems to say something that the other does or doesn't say the same.
Goal: convert to obd1 and run a z6, or y8 manifold on the stock non vtec head.
I've been sitting here for hours looking at different write ups on dpfi to mpfi swaps and I can't get straight info. I'm trying to find the best route to convert my car to mpfi with a few things in mind.
I'm making the car obd1 so I dont want to waste the money on obd0 parts if I can prevent doing so. Everything that i've read says to either convert to obd0 first and then run a jumper harness for obd1. My issue is that if I go this route I would need to also add the resistor box wich I wouldn't need on a obd1 setup if I run the whole harness if i'm understanding everything right.
I just want a straight route to complete this as dpfi is the lose.
Thanks
