Yeah kinda wierd... I was at the light of Ulmerton/19 in the turn lane to go north on 19. I have VERY dark windows so I almost always ride with the windows down at night so I dont get pulled over for no reason...

This Pinellas county cop pulls up drops the window and says.. whats under the hood? I was like... WTF?!?! I said well just an intake... not knowing if he was gonna be a dick and pull my ass over just to fuk with me... and he says... how about when the light hits green we pull to East Bay? I told the dude... No fuking way youre gonna trap my ass and arrrest me...

He proceeds to tell me that he promised he wouldnt he has just never seen what the popo car could do againt a teg. Well I fought all of my right mind cells and told the dude One time. Thats it. Like a dumbass... but he sounded cool... so I thought it would be ok...

Well the light smacks green and we both punch it... I hit 2nd inside the turn and start pulling on him cause he couldnt make the turn as tight as me... then he starts to stick with me on the way on to 19 just behind me... were on 19 and I am hitting 90 now with a damn cop behind me... the wierdest fucking feeling in the world...I backed off at that point... something didnt feel right... he pulls up beside me and tells me thanks and says its a nice car... and then goes on his way.

I obviously turned off 19 and headed home... feeling like I missed something... but so far I am not incarcerated...

I wont do it again... but fuck it was cool to have a popo chasing me WITHOUT lights and sirens this time...

 

do you know how lucky you are???? ive always wanted to race a cop i know id kill em but it would still be fun...i have bullshat out at gandy(not on race nights)with a few sherrifs but theyll never race. ive asked them but they never will. i had a cop pull up next to me on ulmerton between 49th and wherever(the stretch in front of sunshine) and he paced me for a sec then punched it but didnt say anything so i wasnt gonna chance it....---good kill

why because they have 230 odd hp? or becasue they have heavy duty aod trannys and cooling systems. The new crown vic sport is the same as a pursuit package minus the coolant and cage. There is about no differece except for the added wieght...

 

Dont forget that right at the beginning was a nice turn... Vics are also known for being that high performace couch...

That gave me the edge... in a staight line I would have prolly seen his bumper for a sec and then passed his ass...

Like I said this was a once in a lifetime thing and it was awsome.
