Hello,
I'm currently trying to track down the previous owner of my new MSP. All I know is that the previous owner was out of Tampa or at least traded it in at a Nissan dealership in Tampa. They had the car for roughly 2.5 years. It has two very distinctive decal placements. One of them being Street Unit.com decals on the rear of each side skirt, and the other is a racing heart decal on each side of the rear bumper.

The car apparently had a turbo timer, boost controller, and some sort of EMU installed due to the rats nests of wires that were under the dash, open vac line, and holes in the radio pocket and coin pocket.

The car has a Perrin FMIC w/ hard pipes, Greddy BOV, not sure what the BPV is, what appears to be a greddy sp2 exhaust, lowered on tokco blues and tiens, drilled slotted rotter's, and an apexi boost gage mounted directly in front of the fuel gage.
Its a 03.5 Yellow Mazda Speed Protege. Below are a few picks

lol now theirs an idea! jk I just want to play 50 questions and find out what all problems they have had with the car if any. if it has a welded msp lsd in it or built motor ect ect. That kind of stuff. The car runs fine btw. Doesnt appear to burn any oil or anything major like that.

Edit: I think a chick might of owned it or the guy left his gf earring in the driver side door pocket. Also the stock kenwood face plate was missing (not that it matters I already have a alpine hu to install) but just another detail to put out. It also doesnt have the factory sub and amp. Someone install 6x9s in the rear deck as replacements.

Edit 2: Whoever had it sunk some money into it for at least the FMIC because that thing is like 1.3k new and its huge!. Oh its also has a injen CAI installed

Good luck regardless.

Either way its worth a shot. I know a lot of people are trading in their MSP for the newer speed 3s just because it already has the amount of power they wanted.

people are never satisfied these days...

Tell me about it I recently upgraded from a 02 NA auto protege5 to this MSP. I settled for the auto because I was going to be workign down town everyday and figured with traffic I would welcome the auto... I worked 3 days downtown and they put me on nights! 3 years later I still have yet to work another day shift. So with the auto trans going and the desire to get into another standard I ran across the MSP. I wasn't even looking for it honestly. I was debating on if I should rebuild the auto or run it into the ground. lol
