5x114 sti hubs? They will if you get them machined to fit.....hehehe

the Axles and hubs are off a 04 sti those are 5x100.

My problem is getting the hubs into my 05 wrx knuckles. I havent really messed with it yet but looking at it yesterday it didnt seem like the hubs would slide into my knuckles.

I know the bearings are different!

huh....

I have a R180 with STI axles.

When you did your 6spd swap did you need the rear STI knuckles????

no, they will not. youll either need to get them machined, or get STI knuckles to go with them. you also might need to worry about some of the ebrake stuff too if you go with the knuckles. But i cant remember exactly.

just pull a wrx hub and have machine shop turn the STi hub down to the size of the wrx hub and then press into bearing. Not too hard to do thats for sure.

Im getting mixed signals on the knuckle issue!

I wont need the e-brake assembly mine will work!

Im waiting on the rotors and bearing kit to come in from Autozone!

I honeslty cant say much untill i fit the bearing kit onto the hub and see how that slides into the knuckle. With the bearing kit off it has plenty of clearance. ill let you guys know!

No, they don't

You're going from R160 w/ axles to R180 w/ axles, right?

Wheel bearing diameter and width, spline shaft diameter and hub shaft for the R180 are all significantly larger, enough to the point that I'm not so sure that there is enough material in the R160 rear upright to even support an R180 assembly once it has been machined out...? Your best bet is to use R180 rear knuckles.

What are you planning on using for rear brakes?

Cool. Don't bother with trying to adapt R160 brakes to R180 hubs - you have to grind off the Ebrake shoe pin and all sorts of other garbage...

lol im gonna try and avoid that but if all else fails i might adapt them!
