Here is a better idea.. Since just meeting in a parking lot is played out and dinner meets suck IMHO.

How about a detail or install meet??? Its a fairly unique idea and hasnt been done for a while. This way everyone can interact and help each other, thus getting to know each other and having dialog better.

I know about 3 years ago I went to an install meet in Clearwater it was great. Learned how to install suspension, I also got to install some of my stuff with air-tools.

We would just need to determine place and what we will be doing.

My house isnt that big but I can fit about 4 cars in the driveway and another 4 in the yard.. I also have a 10' X 10' canopy we can work under and good ammount of tools.

Not saying my place is perfect so if anyone else is better setup post it up. We can also do a mini-swap meet. Im sure a lot of us have subaru parts lying around that another member could use.


Just my idea, maybe its not the best. Im just tired of standing around in a parking lot having uncomfortable small talk.

I like mikes idea for the install meet. I have never been to one. And also the swap meet. I would up my house for the meet if that is what was decided but I already got 2 projects going in it. I could bring a bunch of tools though.

Slip and Slides are great fun for all involved!!! Slip and slide aside there's always chilling poolside since one of the pumps was fixed. This sounds like fun and it's not even my 9 pm have a drink time yet.

Awesome. I actually started today throwing stuff away. About 3 more boxes, then a coat on the floor and it'll be pro. I say 2 weekends away max to get everything ready and that'd be great. Aside from your tools I gots plenty of those, spare parts and bolts. We could probably build a Subaru from all the parts in the garage lol! I'll park the Honda somewhere far away and we'll get the rent - a - STi! Hell yah. Sweet.

If someone can weld, I have resonator portion of an exhaust I want to install however is too long.... also I'm thinking I need a new BCS (probably getting a GM) that I dont really know how to install but really want to learn, etc etc... I'm down, if I can get some help working on my car :) and of course to hang out with the local subies
