I was out driving today when I came across a grayish/silver 360 Modena. I was right behind him when he turned onto Bearss from Dale Mabry. I had it 1st and was sure he would wanna play. Heh heh heh......As he turned he punched it and I heard the exhaust scream. I hit it too and was on his ass. I shifted into 2nd and had to let out because I wouldve hit him. He tried to do a lil race around other cars to get away. Well he never did. I was on his tail 2nd gear and drove past him in 3rd. He then got so pissed that he flicked his cigarette at me with a face that looked like this ~~~> LOL.....I just laughed and drove away.

Awsome kill! Nothing like beating an exotic Silly but of course I wouldnt know...yet:D..There is this one guy around the Bayshore area with a yellow one..Soon very soon:p

HARD TO BELIEVE. WELL AT LEAST THE WAY YOU SAID YOU BEAT HIM A CLOSER RACE MAYBE ADN THATS PUSHING IT. WAS A SENIOR CITIZEN DRIVING THIS CAR????

i didnt say it was stock but from my experience modenas can get down with the right driver especially when they are not stock..... it really doesnt matter to me im not saying i dont believe him im just saying i have my doubts about a third gear flyby

The 360 Modina isnt some McLaren F1 and Tonys car will beat it. Awesome kill Tony there is a 360 Modina that I see on the Crosstown all the time that I want a piece of...glad you got a slice. :D

Hey Flyby why dont we set up something on the bridge. Just you and me. Id like to see what a 300ZX runs. By the way its very possible that a Mustang can beat a Ferrari. Ive raced a few Vipers and we were dead even til top of 4th gear. Then we let out. If I can hang with a Viper I can beat a Modena. :p

I see a yellow 360 around the Bruce B. Downs area all the time. I think the guy lives in those apts just north of I-75 and behind the Eckerd/Chick-Fil-A place..

I think I raced the same guy.I was headed toward Tampa from Lakeland about a month ago and picked him up on I-4.We raced a few times from 75-140.I pulled him by about 3 cars till I let out (I got the jump) then he pulled by a car or two (when he got the jump.)I couldnt hear his car over mine though.He was a 40 something with black hair/white collar.Kind of looked like Bill Gates.

hey im cool with a little racing just give a couple of weeks to get my turbo upgrade installed....back to the modena i didnt say exotics are untouchable but they can move and a 4.5 0-60 is pretty fast but anyway if you whooped his ass great props to you

That 360 Modena is an automatic. I have a friend that knows the guy that did it. He had it converted to auto at this shop on anderson rd. It belongs to a football player... I think someone on the Bucs cant remember who though...

I really doubt that highly because the only trannies that would bolt up to the Ferrari drivetrains are (you guessed it) Ferrari transmissions. They do make a Modena F1 which is an automatic with paddle shifters that is only .3 seconds slower than the best of drivers with the manual transmission. Maybe that is what you are thinking of because I doubt anyone would go ahead and convert to an automatic in a Ferrari especially since they have the bucks in the first place to buy the car (they would probably just trade it in). Unless of course it was a Fiero Modena...then the conversion would be plausable. :D

I saw a sweet looking silver Modena pulling into Harbour Island sat night the plate said Seven Eleven I didnt they know they paid them that well. I wonder if thats the car you raced Tony?

well if it is owned by some rich guy hes probably too lazy to even shift a paddle style shifter...and converting it to an auto would cost alot of money---- thus showing how much he has....its kind of like those people who will buy a 50000 sq foot house and rip it down and build a new on because they didnt like the paint.....

weeks ago my friends and I were o the pinellas side of gandy at about 3am having a 3000gt/stealth/supra gathering and a guy in a silver 360 modena w/ the f1 trans pulled up. he thought wed all be impressed and talking about how fast he was but instead our 2 fastest guys hopped in their cars and wetried to set up a race. he admitted that the car was rented from a place on gulf to bay and he couldnt drive he f1 trans too well. when he left we all pulled out at the same time and he tried to shoot past us. I was driving a stealth n/a that tops out at about 145 so naturally he zipped past me but all 3 of the supras and one 3000gt vr4 (the red 92 that won 2nd in drag warz) all pulled him pretty hard. after the bridge we turned on westshore and he got stuck at a redlight next to matt (the red vr4) and he ran the light to keep from having to race. matt said he pulled the guy hard on the bridge from about 120-165mph and harry the guy in a red supra pulled matt after that. I wonder how much he paid to rent it?
