Default whats the easiest way to remove 1 4g63

got a 2g eclipse awd converted, the motor is stripped down to the block. Do i need to take the motor and tranny out at the same time or can i just yank the engine. The motor is mated to a 5 speed

if everything is disconnected pull the axels out of the tranny and just pull it out as one.

i always left the transmission in. take the transfer case off and yank the block by itsself. taking apart the suspension to get the axles out is a pain in the 2g's haha. just put a jack under the tranny to tilt it up, and when you go to put it back in, just tilt the tranny back up to slide the engine in.

yank the tranny and mottor out all in one i did my car in about an hr and i had to disconnect everything(wires, exhaust, axels, etc)... this was all done in my driveway with a engine hoist and a friend... also drop everything back intogether the only trouble i had was i had to take the crank pully off because it wouldnt clear the driver side motor mount... no biggie just do it first... i have 98 eclipse 2g...
