Anyone been up to the Gainesville Autocrosses at U

Thinking about making the journey up there this weekend since I NEED to get a fix. Only thing that worries me is where they hold it. From the course layout I saw (a drawn picture on the EEC.com site) it looks like its on top of a parking garage with light posts all over the place. If anyones ever been could you tell me if its even worth going to?

of course if you look at it.. the poles are 92 feet apart one way and about 120 feet apart width wise. shouldnt be too bad.. nerve-wracking.. but not BAD


IF i go... well probably have a place to stay so we can go sat & sun without having to commute all that way

I agree itll definately be nerve-wracking. Did you see at the bottom of the picture though? It said four-story parking garage. Does that mean thatll well be running on the very top level? Thats even more nerve-wracking.

Youre considering heading out to eh? I really want to get some autocross footage with my new mount. Tried it out around the local streets and it works so damn well.

i wont be making it bill.. driving two hours just to careen into a phone poll and try to make upa story of how/why i hit it is just too much for me.

I agree. Personally Id rather wait until the whole MacDill issue is resolved so I can enjoy the nice wide turns of a well-setup Porsche/BMW Event.
