Newbie needing some help/advice

I have a 97 Legacy 2.5 GT Wagon. I am thinking about swapping out the motor with a 2002 Turbo motor. I should be getting the wiring also.
What other mods would be required?
Will my ECU work?
Will I need it re-programmed? How much does this cost? Where to get it done?
Notched cross member? Any one have one?
Is there a fuel pump in the gas tank? Will that need to be swapped?
Do the turbo motors need better radiators?

I am not a newbie when it comes to working on cars just a newbie when it comes to Soobies.

Any connections to getting factory Subaru parts cheaper than list price?

you will need a wrx ecu. the fuel pump should be upgraded and while your doing it might as well drop a walbro 255 in there.

you'll need the original boost solenoid as well and matching ecu with wiring harness . i would also consider lookin for a wrx tranny if so :)
