question (ball joint?)

92 cavalier...when ur goin down the road, if ur turnin the wheel to right its makin a clunking noise...that would prolly mean its the pass side ball joint, correct? lmk thanx

sounds more like cv shaft to me

depends, CV would click
ball joint can pop in out, also tie rods could have play
if you jack the car up (unloaded) and the wheel is loose left to right than it's usually a tie rod
if you jack it up under the control arm (loaded) and you can pop the wheel up and down it's the ball joint
if you jack the car up (unloaded) and the wheel is loose in all directions it's the hub

Your sure it's not a tire rod end or a bad strut or shock? also like the guy said above you can always jack the car up and try to shake the tire if it wabbles you can take it from there.

I have the same problem in my car right now but all my shocks and struts are messed up!!
