95-99 gst and gsx ECUs are interchangable.you can take the 4 screws out and look for a socket or on the face of the ECU you should see an E.

will a 95 gst ecu work in a 99 gst. And how do you know if the ecu is eprom thanksyes it plugs right in, you just have to reverse your firing order from 2341 to 4123 and your good to go. The question on the eprom was already answered but you can also take the cover off and look for the chip.
