Photographers Meet - Nature

Well since all we seem to shoot cars, and models..not like there is anything wrong with that, but here in Tampa/St. Pete we have some GREAT trails.

So here we go. I only seem to know ones in St. Pete. Which are all good, but if you want to add one to the list for ideas post up, also post if they ask for donations/charge.

St. Pete -
Weedon Island - Free(donations welcome) - Great marsh land photography(some muddy trails).
Sawgrass Park - Free(donations welcome) - Great inner city park, nice trails.
Boyd Hill Nature Park - 3.00(funds go toward bird exhibit they have) - Really good, this trail seems to have everything from marsh to desert forest.


Dates - June 21, June 28th, & June 29th.(I am adv any of those)
Time - Either early to mid AM, or afternoon(but bring water)


June 21 - kaluwa, Sabotage

Lettuce Lake Park has some nice trails, you can see pictures LightinToGo took on his thread. I think it's nice.

we're moving back down this weekend, the 21st or 28th would be good.....i can bring my camera and the bikes, we want to start riding when we get down there and thatll give us a chance to explore some of the parks first!

Don't really know. I shook it off as I looked down so I didn't see it longer than an instant. Tried to look for it so I could identify it, but couldn't fin it. I originally thought it was a wasp, but now I'm leaning towards a spider. It was about 1 minute/50 yards after we spent 20 minutes shooting this massive banana spider and its' babies so maybe one of them clung on to me and decided to try and take me down. It's actually continuing to look worse (http://www.chrismetcalfe.co.uk/temp_files/DSC_0127.jpg).

For the Nature meet. If your wearing Flip flops, or open toed shoes I would recommend not going. Wear boots or shoes..Yes I know its florida, but look what happened to chris.

Search Google Images for Brown Recluse Bites. You'll see they're quite a lot nastier. I went to the doctor and they gave me antibitotics and anti inflamatories.

A brown recluse bite starts out as nothing, and day by day it worsens. Thats why they suck lol. Plus the fact it's hard to treat.
