1992 Caramo RS

Hey all,

I have a 1992 Caramo RS with a 350 Turbo Tranny, the 1992 was ment to have a 700R4 tranny which uses a electrical speedo, the 350 Turbo Tranny uses a mechanical speedo, I'v found parts for a adapter but I heard they are almost always inaccucate and costs alot to recalibrate, anyone have any idea where I can get some cheap used gauge that would fit in my 1992 that uses a mechancial pull speedo?

couldn't you just get a speedo from the earlier 82-90 camaros?

Just get the "Painless Wiring" brand speed sensor, get the correct speedometer gears for your gears and tires and its going to be as accurate as you can get.

Well the ones I tried are not the same size for the dash in my current car I'd have to replace the whole dash...

I was also thinking of doing that or using lazer speedo but I hear laser speedo can be more inaccurate, I don't know it's looking like the cheapest route I can take so far, well thanks anyways guys, I'm sure I'll think of something.
