Well I bought my 2004 F-250 about 6 months ago give or take. I was sick of the stock look, and sick of getting stuck in a little patch of sand, so I figured this might help out a little. Even though my truck still weighs 6,500lbs.

I put an 8" FabTech suspension lift on it. With 20" Diamo rims, wrapped with 37" Toyo Open Country A/T tires, which are amazing tires that I highly recommend.

truck looks great, not a fan of the rims but if you like them then thats all that matters, i agree with you on Toyo's tires i have a friend that has them on his truck, they dont do well in the mud but they are good for sand and road

^That would be me.

I love the tires except they dont do the greatest in mud. i can go thru mostly all sand in 2wd but the second i hit mud, the heavy deisel just sinks the front end and it turns into a sled. Granted ive only got stuck once but i havent been in deep deep ish becuz i dont wanna ruin the truck, i didnt buy it for go mudding, i would buy a beater for that matter. I also like the fact they dont humm real bad, if at all.

BTW, like the truck and lift, except for the rims but thats my "o2". Its your truck and what you like, and thats all that matters

You guys are the first to not like the rims, but ehh, I guess picture's don't really do the truck justice. I love it. Anyway, I never had front coil springs on my truck. The 04's and older have leaf springs in the front. Sorry man.

like i said tho, its just my o2. there not bad but there just not my style. thats all. If you like them, thats all that matters.

Do you have any plans for your truck.

theres not much of mpg loss as does the gas engine but if you do a lot of towing then you will need gears.

keep us updated with any new stuff

Yes actually I do have a few plans. I'm researching Programmers right now. I would love to throw on a chip, not for performance but for economy to save a little especially due to the high fuel prices. On a Ford forum I made a thread about it. A lot of people have told me to not chip the 6.0PSD because it will eventually mess it up. There are 3 stages to a chip as you know. Performance, Economy, and towing. I would use mine for Economy, I just can't imagine how that would mess up the engine [Headgasket, etc.]

Another thing that caught my eyes, was the fender flares. They look awesome. I'm looking into those now. After these A/T's burn up, I'm going to get a little more meaty of a tire. 4 inch turbo back exhaust forsure. There are a couple other things I would like to do. But for now that's the first on the list.

sounds like youve got things planned out. The toyo a/t are going to last you quite a while. i plan on going with the toyo mud when mine wear down. I do like those fender flares. I dont have to worry bout the chip thing cuz i have the banks 6 gun race one but you can get the blue one for econmy/tow. Other programmers allow you to switch to different modes. I bought my truck with it already installed so im not changing it. i had mine unhooked for 1 week and i hated it. not only performance but it lost about 5-7 mpg city. i dont do much highway at all.

oh and what those guys are talking about with the 6.0PSD having poblems(from what i have heard) are the headstuds. either way, if you keep it stock or whatever, change the headstuds.I have the 07' so all the bug have been tweeked out by now. but i heard quite a bit of stuff from the 03-04 and some 05 about turbos blowing, injectors leaking, actually a lot of other leaks. mine has 50,xxx and not 1 spot of oil anywhere(knock on wood). I did my first oil change with royal purple and a napa filter............$140:eek:. thats about 120 difference from my old honda, lol.

I beg to differ. On a 6.0, the only way to go is an SCT from DJ's diesel, their looney tune is NASTY and it's the only programmer that really focus's on the transmission.

Go to powerstroke.org and read the 6.0 forums and some horror stories of ANY programmer byut the SCT xcal with a DJ's, Innovative diesel, or Go-Go diesel tune. I'm using mine as a work truck now that I got another SRT, and gonna be doing a-lot of gooseneck pulling and I'm going with the SCT ASAP!

Jeremy - as I said before, the truck looks AWESOME, get those bushwacker pocket style flares, and some amp power steps, and that truck will be sick!

Gah, thats a very nice truck. Go with some 37 Grapplers when you decide to do the tire swap. As for the flares, I'm not a fan of them, but more power to ya! lol

BTW I like the Industrial park shots and Hernando Beach/Aripeka shots.

Hopefully you're talkin about a terra grappler. I've had mud grapplers and they SUCK offroad, they wear very fast, and are horribly loud.

I just got rid of my 20's/38x15.50x20" mickey thompson baja MTZ's and those are a great looking tire, wear slow, and ride fairly quiet.

If you want the best tire all aroud in performance, looks, and comfort, go with the toyo open country mud terrian, expensive but you'll love em!
