Modded Stock Injectors

Ok so i've been looking into going with an 18g walbaro fp.. and bigger injectors..and i ran across people that have dremmeled the caps off their stock injectors and got them flow tested... they were claiming any where from 760cc to 800cc.. does anyone have this done... considering the amount of money it would save is 800cc to big for an 18g and wouldn't there be idle problems???

I know you can send them out here WitchHunter Performance - Injector Cleaning & Flow Testing Services (http://www.witchhunter.com/injectorserv1.php4) and have them flow tested and/or modified and it gives you peace of mind. Also look into Deutchworkes or however it's spelled.

lol yeah i know about both of those companies i was just so confused that someone would wanna mod their injectors on their own.. it seems like it could potentially be a big problem if you mess up..

i had modded STi injectors on my STi. 816cc injectors. i got them through PDX tuning

yeah i mean i understand having your injectors modded by SOMEONE..lol like PROFESSIONALLY..lolthats what i plan on doing.. but to just get a dremmel and hack your injector cap off seems a little risky...
