My baby boy is having surgery tomorrow. Please send good thoughts for no "C" word. He's having some lumps removed and checked out. :(

I'll say a silent prayer for Puppy Long.
I just lost muh kitty kat after 13 awesome years, and it was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do burying him. I wouldn't wish that onto my worst enemy's.
Best of luck to you and the puppy!

Thanks, and sorry about your kitty. :(
My puppy is actually 7 years old. I just realized how that sounded. We call our dogs "the puppies" and it never occured to me to call him anything different.
One of the tumors is sort of under his armpit, and he will have to go up and down a full flight of stairs to potty. He also loves the sofa and bed, so this is going to be rough on him. (he's a wimp and a baby anyway!)

Goodluck and tell your hubby he better lift your dog up and down those stairs. My dog had ACL surgery and i had to lift her on and off the couch for a month and a half.

My wimpy Rottweiler wouldn't go up the stairs when we first got him. We weighed 60 pounds! I am the one that takes care of the dogs, so I was stuck helping him up the stairs. I couldn't carry him, so I had to stoop over him and lift his front paws off the stair and place them on the next one up, and then push and pick up on his rear until he took a step. :squint: My back hurt for weeks!
Now he bulldozes over people up and down the stairs.
