View Full Version : Anyone of you have a boat and would like to do me a HUGE favor?

Alright this is a weird request but lately I have been getting the itch to get back out on the water and I need a tow.

I am talking about wakeboarding here guys and gals. I havent been in almost a year and a half and I everytime I drive by the lake and see the glassy water I just get that itch to get back out on the water.

I no longer have a boat so maybe one of you call can take me out and tow me around the lake lol.

I use to compete years ago (back in high school) but kinda lost interest in it when I started getting heavily into racing. But I wanna get back into it but I sold my boat and just dont have the funds to go buy another one.

I have my own board, rope, and vest....all I need is a tow. And of course I will be shooting you some gas money :D

Now that was years ago so IDK if I can still do all this stuff lol. But last time I went it felt like riding a bike to me....you never forget once you know how to do it.

I prefer fresh water and I am kinda spoiled cause I am use to riding behind Mastercrafts and Ski Natiques but since I dont have a boat I cant really be picky here can I?

I know someone out there wakeboards and will be willing to tow me around....help a brother out.

Thanks for the offer but the pwc dont really give a wake for me to launch off of. If no one else come foward maybe we can go fuck around and atleast I can satisfy my itch for a little bit maybe just get out there and get comfortable riding again.

And as to 351coupe that thing will rip my arms off :lol:

^^ As long as they can get their feet into my boots they are more than welcome to have a go at it with my equipment.

All that being said....No boat here either....:( I wish I had a boat....I'de LOVE to go fishing....but I don't know if I would go skiing here in Floriduh with all the gators and shit.:crack:

The gators leave you alone. We use to get out on the lake at 5 am back in the day when the water was completly glass to bare foot. You would see there heads all around the lake. As soon as they hear that boat anywhere close to them the get they fuck out fast.

Speaking of Gators...

I just saw on "Rob & Big" last night, where Rob & Steve Barra did two double kickflips over a gator, and Big and Bam Bam physically jumped over the gator... The effing thing was in the middle of the road, in what looked like an industrial plaza... :dunno:

No one out there wakeboards or even skis???? must be a dying sport. I remember back when we use to ride everyday there where atleast 5+ boats out on the lake all fighting for some realistate of the lake where the best water was.

Needless to say some pretty good grudges came out of that issue lol.

If someone invaded our nice smooth water that we had claimed first well we deffitnally made shure they didnt have smooth water to ride in....mastercrafts can do some good doughnutz!

You want smooth water and then want a big wake :roll: Go out in the bay and there is plenty to jump :D

I go every now and then with a friend of mine. Hes got a 22' Session and we always go to Lake Carroll here in Carrollwood. Its a bit far from Largo and we always go last minute or after work on the weekdays. The boat throws a great wake for wake boarding, wake surfing etc. even w/o the fat sacs. Ill ask him to see if he minds another person out there if youd like.
