Hopefully camera will be back this week, so I can test out this stuff.

Update on camera -
Replaced barrel on lens(since fuckers drilled holes in it)
Replaced flash mod
Replaced EOS Sensor
Replaced Sensor board

Well just got off the phone with Best Buy. Now they are waiting on a approval to give me a new camera.:roll:

I went buy last week, and they said they were repairing the flash and the board...well someone there must have had sticky fingers and majorly f-ed it up.

So now I wait for BB Corporate to reply. But I am not going to wait on them, I have been with out a camera for over 2 months now. I will be going by to day and see what I can get BY this weekend.

Worst thing about it is I have a Extra battery, battery grip and over 6 gig worth of stuff I cant use unless they have a XTi, and give me the difference.

They changed to SD and to a slimline battery. That was one of the first things I looked at.

All i want is my gear, or a camera. It fuckin sucks I got a really good deal on a 50mm with 2 filters, Canon hood, and bag for 90$ shipped....and I cant even play with it.:crack:

Well talked to them again last night this time to the Geek Squad/Service manager.

He said I should hear something today and they will 95% will be junking out the camera. Someone at Percision Camera messed up the main board for the camera.:-o

As long as I get the price that is on the receipt for the camera I will be happy, then ill get either the XSi...if I really want it, or I will go to Citrus Park and pick up a XTi and have about 300 in my pocket(prob pick up a lens or 360).:crack:

Well it gets better and better with each phone call.

I gave them till 3pm to call me. Well they didnt So I picked up the phone and called them once again.

Well now its being stated to fix the camera its 585$, which is over what it is worth. So now they sent all the docs to the insurance company and now I have to wait 2 more days.:roll: I love these "2 More day crap".

Well I told the manager once again they have 1 day. done. So he said he is calling the company to see if they can get it pushed faster.

He has till 7pm to return my call..:crack:

After about 1-2 hours off and on the phone with BB, managers, and tools. They finally said "Come and get one"

Well they wanted me to wait another week for a XTi. I DONT HAVE A WEEK...

And like hell they are gonna give me a Nikon, Sony, or pentax.(nothin wrong with them).

I walked out with canons new bastard child XSi.

All in all they wanted me to pay the difference and i told them to piss off on that.

thats some pretty retarded shit, but a lot of ppl complain about best buys extended warranty. I had to wait a while with ritz but it wasnt any run around. I guess the camera had to do some traveling to canon then back to ritz HQ for them to finally say give me another one.
