theyre nicer looking in my opinion than the 94-99s. real sleek and sexy. wish i had one instead of a camry cuz i know theyre a hella lot lighter. i believe they had the 5s-fe (camry/n/a mr2) engine as well as the 3s-ge and the rare celica all tracs had an all wheel drive 3s-gte (mr2 turbo engine) the 3s-ge is what i believe most had im not even sure they had the 5s-fe or not. i dont remember the output on those but the GE engines (unlike the FE engines=fuel economy) but the 3s-GE has adjustable cam gears and actually has 2 external cam gears. they also have turbo kits to bolt on and are pretty good all motor setups if done right but is more expensive than the turbo actually. the car has alot of parts for it and ill be glad to help u find parts or what not. some of them are interchangable with camrys and stuff since the engines are setup very similar. body kits ruin a celicas looks and 90-93s to me look best with a nice ~2 drop and some 16s or so (maybe some new GT-S rims) and can be pretty fast.

although i hear theyre a girly car ;)

im me: digitaldreamz01 if u have questions ill try to help as best i can. maybe i can meet up with ya sometime and u can check out the cam and ill check out the celly! :D

well i think it would be cheaper just to buy a new car...i was talkin to some people about that and they said i would have to buy the engine and then my car is fwd and the all trac is awd right? someone mentioned to me that an mr2 turbo works for my car but im not planning on doing that for while if i ever do that.

haha yes!

mark you missed the red one in gainesville. it only ran once or twice and i missed one of the runs but it was in the 12s..was nice. also a black mr2 there that ran like 11s with a big ass IC in the trunk on fans! hehe.

having any more mr2 meets or anything in brandon? let me know. im looking at getting an mr2 actually.

i have 2 1990 celcias one gt and one gts. (the other is a bit older)
Dan however seems to konw hte books on htem but if u ever need info on the simple tuning or changing the simple to replace fuse for the fog lights (which will go eventually) jsut let me know and ill let u know

2 major problems with these cars though..
1. the shifting calbes have a tendency to stretch thus leading to 2.
2. the syncro gear for 2 and sometimes 3 needs attantion almost every 5 years sometimes a bit less.

Ive replaces the syncro on the gts about 3 times and the gt once but it needs it again and im waiting for my pay cheque.

I have a 92 GT. Depending on what condition its in youll
want to get all the belts and shit replaced. I just recently got
all of them on mine replaced. Its a good car and I love mine.
I get alot of compliments on mine people dont think its a
92 when they look at it but then again they probably dont
know shit about them. Heres a pic of mine sorry its so big:
