88 rx7se wont start

no crank. all i hear is one click ( i think main relay clicks) and thats it. looks like the starter is not getting any signal to turn on and spin the flywheel

got the starter tested and its working well. i cleaned the contacts on the starter area after testing it. I put it back in the car hoping it was just bad connection coz of wires were somehow soaked on oil.


where should i start looking? wiring problem? ground problem? maybe main relay?
please help. this shit is pissing me off:mad:

now is this the plastic behind the ignition cylinder? im gonna go ahead and check this out. so if it is the ignition switch, do i replace or clean it?

im also not ruling out the connections in the battery. it gave me problems a long time ago. negative battery terminal keeps on shorting out when i try to start the car.

on ur se sounds like ur ignition switch went bad they cost about 100 bucks at the dealer i got one that i bought not to long ago its brand new from mazda i paid 100 bucks never used it ill give it to u for 75 bucks bro lmk 813-9002838 just call me today !!!!
