40-60$ is the going rate. Blue Moon uses a Dyno Jet. keep that in mind.

Called Ramsey's today. I asked "How much is it for a baseline pull on the dyno?"

Response: "The charge is $100. That includes 3 pulls on the dyno, a print out, and a consultation with Dennis."

What? I only want ONE run and a print out. I don't WANT the consultation with Dennis. Pffff. Guess I go elsewhere. :dunno:

Trust me, I understand. I am going to change the text and bold it. It is on my list and I am going to get to it, right after I join the Procrastinators Club... and I will do that soon too...

$100 for 3 pulls. wow no wonder why hes able to afford so many radio ad's

most places should be around 50-60 for 3 or 4 pulls

Don't blast Ramseys to much. It takes time to pull a car on the dyno, strap it down and hook it up. So I can understand the 3 run min. Also you realy should run it 3 times to get a good average.

It's just going to put out about the same numbers". When are you guys doing a dyno day again? :nerd:

Shamus never worked there, he was always just trying to help them out... and he was helping all of us out too... :bigthumb:

I always like the law of averages my self... ;) I would check around and hopefully you will find a good price for a few runs. Check with Coastal, Sam always took care of me when I put the car on his dyno.

why not take it to the track. those are the numbers that matter.Because it's cheaper (even at $100) to go to a dyno than buy tires that will hook up. The last time I took it to slipperworld, it went 14.40's at 101mph. I was slidding through the first 60 ft and beyond. And that was with the old set up.:(
