correction, i am selling two trannys, both good. one has a broken upper right bolt hole - that ones $50, the other one I paid good money for is perfect for $100. I called you back and left you a message saying I would just sell you the good one out of sympathy for $50, but since you didnt want to answer or call back, its still sitting here.

The motor was out of a 94 Talon TSi FWD running when pulled with 90k

You wouldnt be doing yourself any favors. Everyone goes from 7 bolt to 6 bolt, But I guess if your a fan of failure have at it...

And to answer the question, NO, You can use 1g for 2g but not 2g for 1g.

THE 7 BOLT WONT WORK.

the 7 bolt motor is a 1994 Eagle Talon DSM motor, it will work on any turbo chassy with the original tranny 89-94. as long as the cas can be used and in 2G's, the cas is used with the wiring harness with the help of the 1G ina 2G wiring harness that splits it to the knock sensor harness and 2G cas harness.

if you want to put a 7-bolt 4g63 motor in your 91 you can do it, but seeing as how all 7-bolt motors crankwalk at one point, maintenance is key and oil is very important.

but seeing as how all 7-bolt motors crankwalk at one point,

lol, its not inevitable, just seems to happen alot. Also from what I've read, it mostly happens on the 95-97 models.

I cannot believe the mis information in here... YES you can put a 7 bolt engine in a 89-92 6-bolt Talon/Eclipse and yes it will work. An engine is an engine and all 4g63's exept Evo's bolt up the same and use the same sensors....

So littlehery to answer your question without bias...Yes you can use this engine in your car till you get another one. You might get another 50k or more miles out of it!

I must say I am sorry. He did call and leave a message and offered it to me at the price I thought it was. It was misposted by him on accident as far as which one was how much, but yes, he did offer to stand up to his post. Thanks for being honest and rep for you sir... Most wouldn't have done that..

And also, I still need it so regardless of past conversations, would you sell it to me if I come get it? I will pay what your asking.
