yes this works on 99-03 7.3L and 04-07 6.0L fords, dodges, and chevy's. This is an awesome programmer, I'd be more than happy to take anyone for a ride, if you like black smoke, a fast truck, and 4 more mpg, this is for you!

You really would be surprised. I'm still stock intake, stock exhaust with a cat and muffler delete and this thing hauls ass, even with these heavy wheels/tires

Good god, for a superchip. Did you buy it new, and gold plated?

jk man, sucks!

88redrex - banks products are alright, but that big hoss bundle is WAY overpriced, I can't see paying 2 grand for an intake, exhaust, and programmer. Not when you can buy an intake used for around $150-$200, have the exhaust done at a shop for $200, and get a programmer for $350-$400.

It's almost like you're paying an extra $1200 for the Gale Banks name.

Dont get me wrong. Mine came wit my truck when i bought it from the dealer but thats the only thing that they said i could have and still warranty my truck. Now i dont know if thats tru or not. The kit has exhaust w/ muffler, intake , piping, intercooler, high-ram, pda, speedloader. And this kit has been tuned for the use of each part. The best truck built are ones that are built by there owners with there own stuff but will the dealer warranty there truck still or will it last as long as others. These are just some question that are going thru my mind and probably his.

Im not saying that "gale banks is the shit, everyone has to have it". this is only my .02 cents.

Eh, to each is own. I just know I want headstuds and an SCT with a DJ's custom looney tune, custom tunes are where it's at.

now if mine didnt come with it when i bought it then yea. thats a different story but i have it and keeping it.

about those headstuds. How common of an issue is that, i never heard anything till you. I do know there are a lot of problems with the earliar 6.0l but they tweaked it out by the 06-07's.

agreed on the "to each is own"

good luck on the sale

ANY 6.0 is a ticking timebomb, stock or not, they're just one of those "luck of the draw" motors, I suggest headstuds to anyone with a 6.0 no amtter what's done to it, how many miles, etc.

I've got 2 neighbors with 6.0's, one has 70k miles, bone stock, never tows anything, popped 2 sets of headgaskets before he had it studded, one has over 200k miles, with an SCT programmer with a looney tune on it, tows daily, muds it, etc. stock headgaskets and studs, never a problem.

On another note, I met up with Patrick here on the boards today, and rode in his 05 with an SCT/looney tune, and my god it's effing sick, I need this gone asap!

:D

with some 4.30's and some dyno tuning you'll really see a difference.

Oh don't worry my friend, I'm going all out with the SCT (livewire w/WILD looney son, wo0t!), I currently have a banks 6gun on the truck that a friend of mine had sitting, since I spent all the money from selling the bullydog on headstuds I didn't wanna be without a programmer for awhile.

Gotta say though, I'm not liking the 6gun too much compaired to the bully, but it's gonna be worth it when the truck's got the SCT and the headstuds are in! :(
