thats a small head on a 350..only 1.84 1.5 valves in it..

i got a 350 short block that blew a head gasket an sat..right now i aint had time to fuck with it.but i got all the rods and pistons out of it but 1..the one had the water in it an sat..crank is still in it with 1 rod an piston..rebuild it and go 30 over.may be less..stuck piston is only 1/4" down in the hole.has no came

does anyone think thats a bad idea too put 305 heads on a 350 block cuz i just got into american car i gruw up arond hondas n i need some advice please!!!

well not to crush your plans but the vortec spider injection wont let you make over 380 or so crank horsepower.. not only that but the computer doesnt have any maps for anything over 5800 rpms. thats why i went old school on my 96 1500 when i threw a rod on the stock 305.

yes vortec heads are good but the 305's arent the one to mess with. look around for some l31 heads which would be the 350 vortec heads. get on performancetrucks.net , or fullsizechevy.com and do some reading and you will see.

i wouldnt say not to mess with 305 heads, maybe not 305 heads on a 350 but on a 305 they can be pretty stout, super chevy and car craft are making high 300 low 400 at the crank with 059 heads...
