Cliff notes: This is a mechanic you can absolutely trust - I recommend Dave @ Genium 100%! Top-notch work for a very fair (I don't want to say 'cheap' because you don't get a 'cheap' service) price. Genium definitely knows their stuff.

My 2006 Mazdaspeed6 threw a rod through the short block. Due to my very minor modifications (test pipe, BOV, and CAI), Mazda voided my warranty. After a costly legal battle, I wanted my car fixed right and for as cheap as possible (Mazda charges $8,000 -10,000 to replace a 2.3L turbo motor). In order to get my car running at a low price, I elected to buy a damaged short block to be merged with the parts on my old block. When I posted an ad on TampaRacing.com, Dave responded immediately (you'll find that Dave ALWAYS responds ASAP). After speaking with Dave and finding him to be knowledgable, professional, fair, and a truly another real car guy, I decided to hire him. I'm glad I did - by the time Dave received all the parts it took him a matter of days to pull my motor, merge the two motors together, and swap in the "new" motor. All along the way Dave was attentive to every possible detail and forsaw every possible problem with my "Frankenstein" swap. Dave will tell you he really cares about his customers - it's not just talk like you may receive at most places - this guy really does care. The car runs flawlessly and was well taken care of (no dings and it was even washed). In the end, the total repair (with parts, shipping and labor) cost me only $1,700 (as opposed to $8-10k from the stealership) because Genium did it RIGHT and did it FAIR. I would recommend this shop to anyone; whether you drive a Honda, Ford, BMW, etc.!

Thanks for the good words its much appreciated. It brings a smile to my face that I have another happy customer out there riding around.

Even though your car gave me some headachs it wasnt that bad. The most irratating thing to me was everytime I went lookin for a part everything was dealer only! I hate dealing with the dealerships.

Plus my parts supplier sent me that incorrect head gasket that set me back a little. Shit I would of had it back to you faster if that issue didnt come up. But atleast I caught it before I installed it lol (I always check, I learned the hard way on that many of years ago lol.)



I would also like to thank you for being such and understaning customer. You understod that the parts issue was out of my control and trust me customers like you make my life alot easier. But I made up for their mistake we stayed till 12:30 am Monday night just to finish your car....now thats customer service IMO! I promised you a week and I tried my best to meet that goal....in the end I had it back to you 1 day late so I feel I stood up to my end of that statement.

Thanks for the help getting the word out there that we work on anything. Alot of people have this impression that we do only Mustangs. While yes we do specialize in Mustangs a car is a car. Its all nut and bolts to me.
