The best exhaust would prolly be an Apexi N1 and custom 2.5 piping the stock design is way restrictive.

0-60 in the 6spd gt-s is rumoured to be 6.7 secs but i dobut it. ive seen 1/4 mile times of mid to low 14s on the 6pd gt-s.
Flounder : I got a celica gt-s.. its auto though im doomed. no mods. what mods do you have in your civic ?

The Injen makes the most power. If you have any questions about the Celica look on www.newcelica.org .
If you can shift fast enough to stay in the high lift cams 0-60 can be sub 7 seconds. 6 speeds run the 1/4 in the high 14s with just intake and exhaust.

Oh yeah you run 14s I forgot.
You know I beat a turbo eclipse in a 1/4 mile run that had a bunch of mods but was driven by the worst driver ever I dont really consider that as spanking it. Ive also beat a GT-S but the driver didnt really churn what could have been churned out of the car.

Actually I ran 13.8 @ 100. :p But your right the only reason I won was because the other guys couldnt drive not because my car is faster.

Slicks? What was your 60ft time on that run? What else are you running besides i/h/e gsr perhaps? In all the time I have been to the track I have NEVER seen a civic go 13.8 without some serious money spent...

On street tires with a 2.2 60ft at best. My 60ft times always suck. I have traction problems in 1st and sometimes 2nd at the track. For some reason I hook up better on the street. Im not a track person anyway. I got a HB with a GSR swap. I have to be cocky all the time because everyone always bashes Civics. Hondas are the most hated cars by far. I get flexed on daily. Sometimes I feel like a rolling target. Its OK though because I win 98% of my street races. And I dont even bother racing 15-16 second Civics/Accords/Whatever with 17 inch wheels and bird baths with clear lights. I only race cars that I think are gonna run good like V8s 911s M3s DSM Turbos and stuff like that. I ran a couple new GT-S Celicas to see how they run. No big deal. I like them and I like MR2s too. I got my Hybrid over three years ago for one reason to go fast. The only thing I hate are rednecks with slant cut dual exhaust. I like just about everything else. Especially Japanese cars. Stay tuned because my motor is getting tired and a rebuild is coming very soon. I plan on my Civic getting faster in the near future.

Hey bro sorry I stereotyped you for one of them. You represented you had just i/h/e in your civic and not that you had a B18 so I thought you were full of shit like the rest of them. Hopefully Ill see you one day and give you a run for you money :D Happy hunting!

i think is 1ZZGE or something like that. (celica GT)
yeah they share engine (CELICA GT And COROLLA)
i dont see why would u swap the same egnine onto a corolla
maybe the GT-Ss engine would work thats a 2ZZGE or something like thtat (Gt = VVTi GTS = VVTi-L)

Hey IceBurn but a nice 50shot wet fogger on your car. I called Nitrous Express and they said a 50shot would run fine on a stock motor right off the showroom floor. Im saving up money for mine. But I have the 6 speed so Ill be knocking on the 13s door! :D
Of course I may just save my money for when I get my Supra or RX7 TT

hey are the vvt-i on corollas and celicas suppose to work just like vtec on hondas? like on a certain rpm the vvt-i engages automatically? (i.e. 5500 rpm on the civic then engages the vtec?)

if the corolla and the celica gt share the same engine then why does the celica make 140 hp compared to the 125 hp corolla? is it the exhaust system or what?
