Trans brake + BBC in a hooptie = 3ft wheelie which im guessing tweaked the front end a bit stressing the hood because at about 120 mph the hood ripped down the middle flew up smashed the windshield on the passenger side and the hood pin was strong enough to rip the fender out a few inches and break the factory spot welds and bent a bunch of shit. The car had tirespin thru 1st and into 2nd. The car coasted to a mid 10 sec pass

It's bad, but it could have been alot worse if the other side of the hood ripped off....

The new paint will buff right out tho hehe. Im gonna Have Vito do some super fine metallic bright silver. Then mix up some black into the clear and layer the shit out of it so it looks like a dark gun metal with metal flake.

Sorry to see the damage, but at least the hood came off instead of wrapping over the windsheild!
Glad you are OK!

i would geet a peice of lexan and make a mount setup where i could drop it in behind the grill..that should cut the et down some an give you bette mph..
then if you want to drive it on the street just pull the lexan out the grill..

the car has no issues with its MPH ... it doesnt even have a real wind issue. The old hood was just a cracked up piece of shit and there was a major head wind that day.
How ever the new bumper , fenders and hood will all be dezus'd on well Also when V puts the tubes out front we are putting in some tin to cut down on air inside the nose. No worrys . I knew i needed a center hood pin and just didnt give 2 shits was basically the real problem lol
the only real thing that was holding the car out of the 9s was the gear and short shifting it. Now im just gonna go for it lol
