ive got a damn near mint condition 95 f150 4x4 right now but gas is straigt up killing me. im about to move out and do not think ill be able to afford the gas in this thing. ive thought about getting a toyota pickup 4x4 for fuel economy but how much better is a toyota with a 22r gonna be than a ford with a 302?

Do you need/want a 4x4? If not you could just roll around in a 2wd...Hey I have a lil lifted 2wd ranger for ya! lol It gets like 20 mpg!

Either a Toyota or a Ranger are gonna be good on gas, if you wanna stay Ford, that Ranger sounds nice

If you're looking for good gas mileage, screw any truck. None of them get "good" gas mileage.

what lift do you have now to fit 35's?
SLOWBOOST
07-06-2008, 11:33 PM
4''procomp, 2'' body. rears getting ready to get redone too, loosing the shitty blocks and getting 5.5'' shackles then 5'' lift springs and 39's with the sas:evil4: perform a million times better than the ifs, maybe someday dual cases with 4.7gears.

Do you want to sell that procomp lift when you sas it?

yeah ill get rid of it all when i cut it off. Have you guys cranked the torsion bars? theres a couple quick and easy ways to lift these for cheap, balljoint spacers work good too.
Hellaslow
07-07-2008, 11:08 AM
i've already done torion bars and shackles also sittin on 33's

SLOWBOOST

Shouldn't it all unbolt?
SLOWBOOST
07-07-2008, 09:30 PM
yes, but you still have to remove the ifs brackets that are welded to the frame. which is what im cutting off to save time unbolting a bunch of junk im not going to use anymore.

07-08-2008, 09:40 PM
oh sweet, I'll buy that off of you when ever you are ready to get rid of it!....
