View Full Version : Looking for a camera.
I'm looking at buying a DSLR and just wanted some opinions. I'm looking to get something either new or used and 500 is my max spending price. I would like to get it with one lense (most of the one's I've looked at have lenses) but Idk what to look for. Anyone that could recommend a camera or has one for sell that would be awesome.

Canon Digital Rebel XT's you can find for less than 500 with the stock lens, the XTi will be a little higher.
You can also go to the other team and get a Nikon D40 or D40x which are great camera, most of this forum can vouch for the camera.
Try checking out Craigslist.org, a lot of camera and accessories for cameras go up daily.

I started with a Nikon D40, I recommend buying it from Sam's Club because if you keep the receipt and all the stuff that came with the camera they offer a 100% refund when you upgrade to a new camera.

i COULD sell you my d50 with kit lens for about 400.
if you give me a week i could possibly see what i could do because i'd need to go right out and buy my upgrade and that could reach into the 1200+ range so i'd have to work some big expenses.
if youre interested check out some of the pics i've taken on my flickr. thats just a HANDFUL of what i've taken. camera is in great shape and can give you some other little accessories here and there too.
