well a cat back goes from the catalytic converter all the way back
and the axle back only goes from the rear axle back...

IMHO dont waste your money on Axel Back. Just get a Cat-Back.

IMHO dont waste your money on either, just get a turboback

turboback means from the turbo...back... includes downpipe, catback, and axleback section.

catback is after the downpipe and includes the catback and axleback sections

axleback is just a muffler basically

Just research what kind of sound/style you want and you can pretty much find one laying around. i would suggest Nasioc to find one theres always a bunch on there..

LD is right, but if you go Turbo Back then you need to plan for a tune. With the Catback you have your exhaust system, and can just add teh DP when you are ready for tune.

depends on what year car he has. the older WRXs dont react badly to a turboback without a tune. It seems only the 06+ cars do that.

Just get a tactrix cable and get someone with a laptop to flash an ots map after getting a turbo back exhaust.

lol @ cpages... no it actually is in great condition... has scratches along the bottom but as long as someone isnt walking around your car with a mirror on the ground you couldnt tell. looks perfect when installed and sounds like seks.

but the retune isn't needed for the EJ205 engines...they handle it fairly well, while a tune will give you more from it.

IIRC don't you have to use a Turbo XS downpipe with their catback as they relocated the flange...?...
