I finally finished it.
this thing started out as a real 35 anny. I then autocrossed it in NASA class"D" and finished 4th in the Tampa aby area in 2006. I enjoyed racing the car however it's very difficult to remain competitive with a heavy car on short tracks against a butt load of Honda S200s. (in other words, prepare to buy lots of race rubber).
So, I really enjoy driving it through the Smokey Mountains to visit my parents, but above sea level it was significantly down on power. I added a 6psi Kenne Bell blower, followed shortly (real, real shortly) by a set of cobra front brakes.
The last major mod was swapping in a 99 cobra IRS, which I just completed about 2 weeks ago.
My father just had a medical emergency and I had to make the bonzai run up on Thursday and back on Friday afternoon. The car blasted throught he twisties up near Unicoi Gap and with the blower had plenty of power, and with the Cobra brakes (now at both ends) plenty of whoa as well. It avergaed 23 mpg on the way back.
I really love this car. I intend to write a significant tech article on it in the near future when I have time.
For now, this is about it......

The next project is a 4 cylinder 93 notchback, part of me says make it a turbo street car, autocrosser, maybe 351 and turn it into a drag car, I'm not sure, I like road racing a lot though.

Nice Rob, I thought you may have been working on the notch, top secret style, this whole time

Glad to see you have the 99 done. Have you unleashed it on the FAST guys yet?

No not yet, the blower over the nose adds about 75 pounds of front end weight and really screws up the handling, the IRS, on the other hand, is very heavy itself and might balance some of that out. It's a real nice street car right now and I needed to decide to start cutting it up, or to finish it up. I decided to just finish it and that way I'll have the 93 to butcher.

342 RWHP 320 RW Torque
It's a little 6 psi KB with no intercooler and a mild tune since I drive it a lot. the engine is bone stock with a KN air intake and a Steeda timing adjuster (in case I find some bad gas on trips, I can manually retard the timing).

Cool man. Keep the 93 a xcrosser straight from the butcher.
