if you end up holding onto it check out the battlax BT014, the 150/60/18 will fit the stock FZR rim and performs a lot nicer than the touring tires that are normally on there. I made the change on a 94 and well worth it. gl either way

I've heard the R6 swingarm changes the wheelbase too much and a yzf600 is better (and cheaper) if you want to put a 17inch rim on the back. a good resource to pass on is The FZR Archives (http://fzrarchives.com/) , there's also a forum with a FS section

i didnt kno u was a member on there, well if u hadent notice the forum is shut down for right now and it kinda sucks

an r6 swinging is longer and a yzf is the same as a stock but wider to fit a 180 rear tire

putting in a yzf motor is a direct swap few things need to be changed butt it will work

it u plan on doing that swap let me kno so i can help u out on that

with that bike in mint shap u should get no more than 2500
maybe 300 if ur lucky

if i was u i keep it cuz it works well in the twisties and is awsome to ride

[Duy]

no lie it is very fun to ride.. lol

i have the YZF 600 Motor but i dont really feel like tackling it .. dont know why. I want to do the Body first because it runs right now.. if i keep it.

This is my old bike. It runs very quick for an FZR. The clutch kit and shift kit only have 2,000miles on them. The shift forks, shift fork shafts (solid, heavy duty), shift cam, shift shaft have 12,000 miles on them. Bike shifts fast and flawless.

Bump for a fizzer owner!!! I have had so many of these over the years. I had one that I did as an 02' R6, one as an 00' R6, an 05' R1 for a friend. A couple others as well. My shop actually made billet fork braces with the yamaha logo laser engraved as well as upper triples, rearsets, bar ends, sliders...etc. I still have some fork braces in a box somewhere around the back house, I'll look and see if I can find them tomorrow and you can have one...its a bonus, buy the fizzer people! Try FZR Archives too...
