good road racing forums I recently decided to turn my wrecked del sol into a project budget race car, and just looking for some tips and tricks and also regulations on what I can do and not do to it.

Before you can start road racing effectively, you need to learn to drive on a race track. I'd do that before you even begin race car prep.

Then you need to decide what club you want to race with, and which of their classes you want to compete in. THEN you can get into the regulations of that class, and the tips and tricks that are legal for that class.

What is your current driving resume?

I grew up racing quarter midgets and gocarts.
I don't plan on competing series just a stripped out del sol with some mild engine work, and a medium suspension.
