Im thinking of getting a camera, but im not very familiar with them. What do you guys think a good camera would be for a beginner like me. I heard good things about the Canon Rebel, any suggestions on one, and place to find one?

Check Tampa Forums Art & Photography. Someone's selling a barely used Canon XT for $350. Put the other $250 into a halfway decent lens.

I am selling my Canon Digital Rebel 300d... I am only trying to get rid of it because I finally upgraded to a Canon 30D.
You can see the details of everything I am selling with it here...

I can provide sample shots taken with it if you like.

my roommate is a semi-begginer and he has a Xti and loves it! my photography experence consists of cell phone shots and i can work that thing and take decent pics. nice camera. Xt is a little cheaper but still pretty good. just my experience.
