shooting outside during the day

ive ggot an xti... i cant seem to find a sweet spot i took some the other day of a car there alright but its just so sunny out to where i can barely see my screen anyone know something they normally use i just cant find a sweet spot in the middle of the day when its sunnny out

Hey TR, I just bought a Canon Rebel XTi... I'm having a problem viewing the LCD screen when I'm outside. Does anyone else have this problem? Also I was taking pictures of a car in an awesome location but was wondering if any of you have any "secret locations" that you'd like to share with a new photographer?

If any of you would like to help me solve my problem with the LCD screen glare and new locations to photograph cars, I would greatly appreciate it!

WTF?!? ok i have a XTi and never have Sweet Spot. Its all about how the camera is set.

I have shot in so many different locations with sun, low sun, morning sun, and there really isn't a sweet spot..even with any camera.

With the LCD...well I try not to review shots when I am shooting. kills the battery. And anyway i usually run with the LCD Off since it has all the settings I want in the eye piece.

Yeah, there's no default or "sweet spot" setting for any situation or location. You need to learn what the settings are and what they do in order to be able to adjust the settings to suit a specific situation.

If there was a sweet spot, you'd just be able to leave it on auto and get great pictures every time.

Does the XTi show ISO in the viewfinder? That's one of my favorite things about the D200, I couldn't believe they didn't put it into the lower end cameras.

Yes auto gives you all the great sweet spot shots:lol: Esp when its full sun and it pops the flash up.:crack:
