Generally, in car audio especially, you get what you pay for. I would think that box alone is worth more than that though.

+1 i thought about getting it just to see how much the speakers can handle, then drop a couple CVR's in it

For almost every one of these I've installed, there has been one I've plugged into 110v when customers return them and we dont want them open box.

I'd say the you get what you pay for theory still applies here, even though this is a pretty good deal.

I got a set of these in the past...not anything to win a sound off with, but worth the $$

I just called the local Circuit City by Tyrone Mall and They do not have any so I asked if any of the other stores had them in Pinellas County and No again plus they do not ship them via there website either.

Oh well was almost a great deal if they were actually available.

^I agree....most common bandpass boxes are crap...very flat bass response..

stevo- save the CVRs for a nice big ass ported box.....but thanks for the lookout on the deal

A buddie of mine bought those subs cause he thought they were a good buy, so we hooked up a 500w amp to the both of them, and blew em! The plexiglass ripped its self off of the box as well. Shitty speakers non the less. Just better off trying to low ball on TR:lol:

Says right on it that it's only rated for 400w rms. And judging by the fact that most shit brands overrate their stuff to begin with, 2-300w rms sounds more reasonable. I'd like to see the plexi get blown off though, that would be pretty cool.:D

I hate band pass boxes.... shitty sound... and also jensen stuff blows....

but for 35.00 id rock it for a day...... probably wouldnt last on my kicker 1200.1.....

Should do a DB drag with them... see if i can make the plexi glass blow off..
