Among a long list of famous and successful photographers who use untold amounts of post processing to set their work apart, this guy just takes plain old photographs... and his work is miles ahead of a lot of the people you'd know (Dave Hill?).

Check out his website here: brent humphreys: photographer (http://www.brenthumphreys.com/index_content.html)

Also, if you subscribe to Wired magazine, he did this month's cover and the wired blog has his setup diagrammed on airline napkins.

Good Stuff!!! ~> At first I was like "Ehh... Not another one!" But after seeing his work, I give him a .

Yes, you can tell that he uses a little editing but its not OVERDONE! The Tour de' France pictures are  (especially the Team T-Mobile picture; picture 5!!!) I'm going to shoot one of my friends (that is quite established with-in the cycling industry) in the next few weeks!!! ~> Then, blow it up to poster size for him!

Good stuff Chris!

Yeah he does process some of his pics, but a lot of what you see is done via flash/strobe lighting. I agree that those cycling pics are some of the best on his site.

Where are you going to shoot with this cyclist? Somewhere like Bayshore would be nice, but the roads there are always busy.

In a "semi local" race that he'll be competing in ~> In the next month... I figured "Its within driving distance so why not?" He travels quite a bit so I'm pretty excited that he's doing something locally!
