I'll have the VW finished by next week... thanks for the comment on the Stang...it's my first greyscale project and it's a bit different than what I'm used to doing. :cool:

Looks great. My only suggestion would be to add something to the asphalt/road. Maybe a gradient?

Actually, you got me thinking..how about trying to make it look more like real asphalt since the toon looks rather realistic too... I tried some things...

Check out the finished sky, grass and asphalt in this one... now there are only a few things that need to be done... maybe I'll be finished with it tonight... yay! lol

Most final version... I have never before completed a project like this... I'm pretty satisfied with the effort. Thanks for the comments and the critiques...I think they made it so much better.

Most of the pic is real, but some parts are tooned...(I've done about 2%)... I'm going for a very realistic look on this one, basically hoping to recreate the original perfectly, down to the last pixel. :-o

looking at the toon of the vw i say wow it looks very realistic. but then when i look at the real car i think to myself wow its almost toonish. great job!

Thanks, this stuff has always been cool to me too, but it has owned me alot. I have ADD really bad so I've never finished one until the Bug.

I hope to finish this one, it will take several weeks..maybe months. :-o
