That sucks. :( What happened?
They have numerous pseduo-names, I almost got taken by one. I actually ordered from them, before researching online, and looked online right after. I called them immediately and ranted about how I was going to dispute any charges and how they need to cancel... never heard from them again.

Hmmm...reminds me of soniccameras.com, which is where I bought my 10mm from. :thumbdwn: Please, nobody go there.
Well, I would say everything happens for a reason. After my "bait & switch" experience with Broadway photo, and subsequent cancellation of my order, I received an email from a Craigslist seller I contacted over a week ago.
I had to drive to Ft. Meyers, but I scored a U.S.-model EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lens, never used and in a factory sealed box for $250!!!!
I've scored like this in the past by sending an email stating that I would take (whatever) off their hands for $xyz, then wait to see if they get desperate and respond. Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't.
I would now like to thank those con-artist at Broadway!!!!:D

those lens are getting cheap now. They are the kit lens now for the 40d, and its only $200 difference between getting it and just a body kit
Cheap? My "non-essentials" budget would say otherwise! You would be correct to say that their cost is coming down, but this lens by itself is still $400-$550 from reputable online stores.
So I think saving a full $150-$300 on any camera equipment constitutes a good day, especially if you consider my experience with Broadwayphoto.com.
