k i have a 95 gt im gonna start having some fun with, heres my to do list, suggestions / advice welcome.
- i was thinking a CAI but ive heard mixed emotions on it, i think im gonna go with a K-N for now and then go for an intercooler with my blower
- long tube headers, not sure what make, suggestions?
- Bassani O/R X-pipe no cat / Flowmaster 40 Series or SLP Loudmouths (which would you think is better, im partial to the loudmouths for that in your face sound but the flows are so traditional idk)
- 4.10 gears cause its auto :(
- and i want to do cams but i have no idea what kind (looking for suggestions here again lol)
- pulleys is something i was thinking about but idk if its worth the heating issues?
- diablo or predator chip
And id expect this gets me about 350 hp right?
id estimate about 2.5k to 3k for all that right?
once its all done im gonna grab a blower and an intercooler
im thinking procharger, what intercooler setup works good with that?
im hoping after ive put all this money in ill be at or over 400 and thats where im stopping cause im scared of shit falling apart lol
now im asking for some help on whether i need to do any fabrication to the engine? boring stuff out or anything like that?
any and all input is apreciated!
thanks

we have a blown (12psi) 95 5.0 auto tranny ,heads ect. you want to go w 373 gears i run out of gear quick top end with the blower around 90 to 100 . they do not make an intercooler for the sn 94 95 so no go there ,
we have about 7k in the car mods and we are at 340 rwhp , and around 475 at the motor.
i would get with walt at real speed and he will help ya out with the cam and ect , real speed and ford speed tune our car w sct tune chip.

It's going to take heads, cam, intake with all the supporting goodies to get you to the 300rwhp mark. add a small blower on top of that and be in the 400-425 zone real safe.
a CIA, exhaust, gear, and pulleys will maybe get you 230 maybe 240-250 with a cam if all else is stock.
I'm not trying to disappoint you, just being realistic. it's hard to get 350 rwhp out of a streetable 302 N/A.

I had typed up a whole list of things that ended up looking like a disappointment just after you first posted this, so I just deleted it.
Get a fox body and you'll come out alot cheaper. Not only will you have to work to make the power, with a '94-'95 you'll also have to work to get the ET.
If this car is what you really want then, you'll be happy to watch your bank account dwindle to make alittle powah.

^ you can make the same powa you just go slower in a tank vrs. a go-cart :)
I had a mild HCI 302 in a 2000 body. it ran 12.9x @ 105. I pulled the motor, bolted it in a full weight coupe...unchanged it ran 12.4 @ 108 half a second difference...same power

Yea I hear ya bro.
The computers aren't the most friendly either, not that it can't be overcome, but that just goes back to that all mighty dollah. On a positive note, the '94+ came with an electric fan! :nerd:

The little I know about mustangs is generally limited to fox body cars, but I know Procharger lists 2 and 3 core intercooled systems for '94-'95 5.0 cars. :dunno:

thanks for all the help, and when i meant 250 hp when i originally posted lol, i know you cant get 350 out of that list.
i know the sn95s are more work but i love the sn95 body and i love the 5.0 litres of fury. that means i need a '95. :/
gonna go with cobra intake i think.
and im gonna throw 550 injectors in there i think
